Oh wow, what an amazing pixel headshot you've done!!! You've most certainly developed your style as well seeing what you have done here 
I wouldn't really say the hair is messed up, I often have the last few clumps of hair weighed down on her face so it's no worries haha 
I like the additional feature of the pencil you gave her, it's a nice touch
